Michael DiMartino & World Beat
Music and Dance Ensemble
Workshops and performances available

A multi-cultural art troupe, utilizing music, dance, theatre, slide shows and storytelling to entertain, involve and educate people about cultural diversity and the importance of global cooperation. The group consists of Michael DiMartino and various artists of different disciplines. Their skills include vocals in various languages, Afro-Latin percussion, creative movement, North,Central and South American flutes, West African drum and dance, folklore, storytelling, poetry and theatre with an accent on audience participation. The group has performed more than one hundred shows. The highlights are; An invitational performance at the White House in Washington D.C., the United Nations Earth Summit Conference in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Parliament of World Religions in Chicago, the Whole Life Expos in Los Angeles and San Francisco, California, the Arizona Earth Day celebration, Northern Arizona University multi-cultural week.

Our history has included workshops and performances at various public, private schools, and Indian reservations throughout the southwest, retirement homes and medical facilities.In the past we have also participated in various recovery and prevention programs which allowed the participants the opportunity for creative outlets to replace destructive behavior patterns. The World Beat Music and Dance Ensemble with all of its skills and techniques is an important and essential tool to assist all people in realizing their creative potential within and how to practically apply it in everyday of their lives. World Beat Music and Dance Ensemble is available for performances. (multi-cultural, multi-media performance art troupe)

Transglobal Millennium Ensemble
A diversified group of musicians playing a synthesis of several different styles of music.  Their background experience consists of classical composition,  jazz training, world music studies, funk and popular music. Their presentation can include anything from slow contemplative music, rich in texture to upbeat and highly percussive dance music. 
They utilize melodies, rhythms, instruments, and visual images from around the world.
